H&W Welders knock Lurgan Celtic out of Irish Cup

Last year’s semi-finalists Lurgan Celtic are out of the Irish Cup after losing 1-0 to H&W Welders in their fifth round clash on Saturday in one of three early kick-offs.

The only goal of the tie at Tillysburn Park came in the first half with Ethan Boylan on target.

Lisburn Distillery took the lead through Alan McMurtry in their tie at PSNI, but the hosts hit back to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Owen Moody and Ryan Berry.

Dollingstown came out on top 4-1 in their away trip to Richhill.

Aaron Moffett and Jack Clarke gave the Dollybirds a 2-0 lead before Richhill pulled a goal back, but that was the end of the revival as Marty Doherty and Greg Harrison saw Dollingstown into the next round.

Goals from Eamonn McAllister and William McCracken helped Crewe United beat Knockbreda 2-1.

The Knockbreda goal came from a Mark Cooling penalty.
