Dungannon Swifts romped to an emphatic 6-0 win over the Irish Premiership's bottom side Portadown at Stangmore Park on Sunday.

Douglas Wilson opened the scoring with a sublime 20-yard free kick after 14 minutes, and three minutes later Wilsonturned provider as his deep cross was headed home by David Armstrong.

Cormac Burke added a third after the break with a fine angled finish following some neat build-up play, and Terry Fitzpatrick nodded in to put his side 4-0 up after 55minutes.

Chris Hearty and Andy mitchell added further goals in injury time to complete a miserable afternoon for Portadown and stand-in boss Vinnie Arkins.
