Northern Ireland and Wales fans have united in anticipation before tonight's Euro 2016 knockout clash.

Huge crowds have gathered at the fanzone at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in the centre of Paris ahead of a richly anticipated home nations face-off.

With both sides confounding their critics to progress to this stage of the tournament, their fans have savoured every moment of the big match build-up.

Red and green shirts lined up together to sing the anthem-like "Will Grigg's on fire" - about a striker who has not been seen on the pitch so far in the tournament.

Even former Manchester United striker Eric Cantona belted out his own version in a video for Eurosport.com.

The men from the valleys serenaded their counterparts with Stand Up for the Ulster Men.

Despite the good natured interaction between the fans, it promises to be a hard fought game as Michael O'Neill and Chris Coleman hope their charges can continue their Euro adventure.
