Lee Bowyer named permanent Charlton manager

Lee Bowyer has been appointed Charlton manager on a permanent basis, the Sky Bet League One club have announced.

The 41-year-old has been in charge of the Addicks on a caretaker basis since March following the departure of Karl Robinson.

"I said when I first took charge that it was a fairytale to be back working at Charlton, the club I started playing at. I love the club and will give everything to get promotion," said Bowyer.
