Two-weight world champion David Haye has announced his retirement from boxing.

The 37-year-old, who won world titles as a cruiser and heavyweight, announced the news a month on from his second successive defeat to domestic foe Tony Bellew.

"They say you can't play boxing. Yet, as I write this retirement statement, and reflect on my time in the sport, I can't find a better way to describe the ride," Haye said.
