Tottenham have announced the signing of winger Lucas Moura from Paris St Germain on a contract until 2023.

The Brazilian has made only six substitute appearances this season, having fallen behind Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the pecking order.

Moura, 25, moves to White Hart Lane for an undisclosed fee, reported to be £25million, and could make his debut in Spurs' trip to Liverpool on Sunday.

"It's a new chapter of my life, a new challenge, I'm so happy," he told the club's official site.

"I can play in the Champions League and it's a big objective for me. To make new friends is always a pleasure and I will give my best for the club. We have a lot of quality and we can win big things.

"I'm so excited, everything is perfect and I'm sure we'll do big things together. I want to play, to help the team. It's very strong and can win a lot of things, why not the Champions League?"

The Brazil international moved to PSG from Sao Paulo in January 2013 and played 229 times, scoring 46 goals.

He won four Ligue 1 titles, three French Cups, four French League Cups and five French Super Cups.

Moura has not played in the Champions League in this campaign so is eligible to feature for Spurs, who face Juventus in the last 16 of the competition.
