MP Desmond Swayne drops off during Brexit debate

An MP has been caught dropping off in the House of Commons during a Brexit debate.

Sir Desmond Swayne is seen slipping into a snooze as his colleague Ken Clarke laid out his thoughts directly in front of him in the chamber.

The Conservative was out for nearly a minute - and caught napping on the House of Commons cameras - before suddenly snapping back awake at the cry of "The Charter of Fundamental Rights" from Mr Clarke.
