Davis bids to get German business on-side over Brexit

The complicated mix between politics and business is one of the things making the Brexit negotiations so difficult.

On Thursday evening, Brexit Secretary David Davis went directly to German business leaders in a bid to get them on-side in smoothing Britain's transition out of the EU, telling them that to put politics above prosperity was never a smart choice.
