'Very clear' evidence of 'network' for Manchester bomber

Chief constable Ian Hopkins said the police investigation 'continues at a pace'.

Police have said it is "very clear" they are investigating "a network" linked to the Manchester Arena suicide bomber.

Four arrests have been made since 22-year-old Salman Abedi blew himself up as people left a concert by American singer Ariana Grande on Monday evening.

Police initially said they believed the attacker had acted alone, but in his latest news conference Greater Manchester Police's chief constable Ian Hopkins said: "I think it's very clear that this is a network that we are investigating."

Mr Hopkins said the police investigation "continues at a pace," adding: "There are extensive investigations going on and activity taking place across Greater Manchester."
