Anis Amri, the main suspect behind the Berlin Christmas market attack, was seen on CCTV leaving a mosque - hours after killing 12 people.

The still image was captured from a surveillance camera in the city centre at 3.49am on December 20.

ITV News Security Editor Rohit Kachroo said it captures the start of Amri's trip across Europe.

He said it was "not a secretive escape, but a brazen journey."
