The tram was covered with a blue sheet before being moved.

The tram which killed seven people after veering off the rails near Croydon is in the process of being removed from the tracks.

Engineers working through the night have started moving the tram to clear the area so that services can run again.

One carriage is placed on the back of a lorry.

An interim report into what happened will be published by the Rail Accident Investigation Branch next week.

The final report, including safety recommendations, will be published after the investigation is completed.
