In his first interview since his election, Donald Trump has said he would consider keeping parts of the healthcare law he vowed to repeal.

In the interview with the Wall Street Journal, he also said he had given only a little thought to appointing a special prosecutor to investigate Clinton.

Juncker: We must teach Trump 'how Europe works'

Donald Trump's election poses risks for the relationship between the EU and the United States, EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has said.

"We will need to teach the president-elect what Europe is and how it works," he told an audience of students, adding that Americans usually had no interest in Europe.

Following Mr Trump's election win,a statement from Mr Juncker congratulated the 45th US president on his victory and invited him to attend an EU-US summit "at your earliest convenience".
