US President elect Donald Trump has met with President Barack Obama at the White House following yesterday's election victory.

Mr Trump said he had discussed "a lot of situations, including some difficulties" with the serving President - and said he looked forward to more meetings together.

Democrat supporter: 'It feels like US version of Brexit'

Some Democrat supporters say they are in fear of a "US version of Brexit" with a Donald Trump presidency looking increasingly likely.

One Democrat said the favourable Trump projections had left her feeling "very depressed" and admitted that the chances of Hillary Clinton winning were narrowing.

Others described themselves as "incredulous" at the strong voting for Trump.
