Thirteen al Qaeda leaders killed in Yemen airstrikes

Thirteen al Qaeda leaders have been killed in three airstrikes in Yemen, the U.S. military has said.

The strikes happened between August 24 and September 4 in central Yemen's Shabwah Governorate, it added.

The U.S. did not specify how the strikes were carried out or the identities of those killed.Shabwah
