Mexico president: 'I told Trump we wouldn't pay for wall'
Mexico's president has disputed claims he and US presidential hopeful Donald Trump did not discuss who would pay for a proposed wall between the two countries.
After a meeting between the pair on Wednesday, Republican candidate Trump insisted: "We didn’t discuss who will pay for the wall".
But Mexico's Enrique Pena Nieto later refuted the claim, saying he made clear his country would not fund the 2,000-mile construction.
Taking to Twitter, he said: "At the beginning of the conversation with Donald Trump, I made it clear that Mexico will not pay for the wall".
