At least 22 of 51 Turkey wedding bomb blast victims were under 14

At least 22 of the 51 victims of the suicide bomb attack at a Turkish wedding were under the age of 14.

The attack, which took place in the city of Gaziantep, is suspected to have been carried out by a suicide bomber aged between 12 and 14 with links to so-called Islamic State.

It is the latest in a surge of violence this week in Turkey's mainly Kurdish southeast.

Turkey wedding blast death toll rises to at least 50

The death toll from a suspected suicide bomb attack at a wedding ceremony in the Turkish city of Gaziantep has risen to 50, the local governor's office said.

At least 94 people are also reported to have been injured in the late-night attack which took place while people were dancing.

President Tayyip Erdogan is reported to have said it is likely that so-called Islamic State militants are responsible for the attack.
