Alton Sterling family attend Dallas rally

The family of Alton Sterling, the man killed by police in the US city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has called for justice.

Sandra Sterling, the aunt of Alton, spoke at a rally in Dallas, Texas, and told reporters: "One thing I want to say is all lives matter. We just want justice. We don't want it to get off like those other mother's sons, and the police got off there. We need justice.

"Maybe we need to change the police, maybe we need to change the policies and re-train these officers. And these things shouldn't be happening, but in reality it does."

She said her family came to Texas because "when I saw what happened here, I just had to come, let them know we do not promote violence. That had nothing to do with us".
