Euro 2016: Police arrest 36 people after clashes in Lille

French police have arrested at least 36 people following clashes with football fans in Lille.

On several occasions police charged crowds of chanting supporters, and red flares were let off amid a tense stand-off with officers.

The clashes followed the conclusion of Russia's match against Slovakia and come ahead of the England and Wales match to be played in nearby Lens later on Thursday.

Clashes in Marseilles continue into third night

The clashes in Marseilles have continued into a third night with police deploying tear gas once again in an effort to disperse football supporters gathered in the city's Old Port.

ITV News Correspondent Emma Murphy captured this footage at the Old Port just before midnight on Saturday, just hours after fighting broke out at the end of the Russia-England match.
