A suspect in the fatal shooting of The Voice star Christina Grimmie took two handguns, loaded magazines and a hunting knife to the scene, police said on Saturday.

Miss Grimmie, 22, was attacked when she was signing autographs after a concert in Orlando on Friday night, and later succumbed to her injuries.

Her alleged attacker then shot himself shortly afterwards.

Now Orlando police say the 27-year-old suspect arrived at the scene with more than one weapon as well as ammunition.

Police added that the suspect didn't appear to know Miss Grimmie personally and may have been a deranged fan.

Maroon 5's Adam Levine, on whose Voice team Miss Grimmie competed, said he was devastated by the young singer's death.
