David Cameron and Nigel Farage faced public questions on the EU referendum in a live TV event.

The Prime Minister said leaving the EU amounted to quitting and we are not quitters, he said. Ukip leader Nigel Farage said being British meant not being bullied by anybody.

Fact check: 'Only 12% of British economy made up of EU exports'

Just 12% of Britain's entire economy is made up of exports to the European Union, Ukip leader Nigel Farage maintained.

This is true for the year 2015, according to fact-checking organisation Full Fact.

Around 3%-4% of the value of the EU’s economy was exports to the UK.
