Comedian Victoria Wood has died aged 62 after a short battle with cancer, her publicist has said.
Fellow comedians Jennifer Saunders, Jenny Eclair and James Corden are among those to pay tribute to the Dinnerladies star, saying she "paved the way" for women in comedy.
Her long-time comedy partner Julie Walters said: "Too heart sore to comment. The loss of her is incalculable."
Rhona Cameron believes Victoria Wood "paved the way" for numerous comedians.
The Scottish comedy act said Wood "won our hearts and paved the way for many comedians" through her works which "transcended gender with a wide appeal".
Fellow actor Duncan Preston, who appeared with the comedian in the BBC sitcom Dinnerladies, said he had no idea that she was ill.
