Comedian Victoria Wood has died aged 62 after a short battle with cancer, her publicist has said.
Fellow comedians Jennifer Saunders, Jenny Eclair and James Corden are among those to pay tribute to the Dinnerladies star, saying she "paved the way" for women in comedy.
Her long-time comedy partner Julie Walters said: "Too heart sore to comment. The loss of her is incalculable."
Tributes poured in on Wednesday for comedian Victoria Wood, who has died of cancer aged 62.
Comedian Ricky Gervais and entertainer Lauren Laverne were among those to post tributes on Twitter to Wood, who won four BAFTAs over the course of her career.
Fellow actor Duncan Preston, who appeared with the comedian in the BBC sitcom Dinnerladies, said he had no idea that she was ill.
