Adam Johnson sprinted into court ahead of his sentencing after he was found guilty of engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old fan.
The winger, 28, is expected to be jailed after he was found guilty of one offence of sexual activity with a child by a jury at Bradford Crown Court earlier this month.
A line of 15 police officers guarded the front of the court this morning as Johnson sprinted past.
