An explosion has rocked the main shopping district in central Istanbul, killing at least four people and injuring a number of others.
A suicide bomber detonated an explosive in Istikal Street, a pedestrianised boulevard lined with international stores and shopping centres.
Musician Deborah Dyer - aka Skin - has said she is "okay... very shaken" after a suicide bomber struck near the hotel she was staying in in Istanbul.
Posting to Facebook, the Skunk Anansie singer said the building "shook like paper" when the blast went off.
Four people were killed and 36 others injured in the explosion.
