Calais 'Jungle' demolition continues after clashes

Work to clear part of the so-called Calais "Jungle" camp has restarted after a first day of demolitions saw fierce clashes between migrants and police.

Humanitarian workers condemned the actions of French authorities after tear-gas was fired during the demolitions.

The camp is a temporary home to around 4,000 people, many of whom are hoping to reach Britain.

Volunteers tackle blaze at Calais 'jungle' camp

Volunteers are attempting to put out a fire at 'The Jungle' migrant camp in Calais.

ITV News Security Editor Rohit Kachroo reports that firefighters, surrounded by riot police, entered the camp to help them.

Earlier today, French authorities said activists were responsible for stirring violence in the camp.
