Serial killer Levi Bellfield has admitted the 2002 abduction, rape and murder of schoolgirl Milly Dowler for the first time, police say.
The former bouncer made the confession behind bars, where he is serving a whole-life term life for killing Milly and two other women. He denied killing Milly at his trial in 2011 but was found guilty.
Police have said they are reviewing "a number" of other crimes following Bellfield's confession.

Colin Sutton said police had "good evidence" that Bellfield had committed multiple other serious crimes.
"If he really wants to wipe the slate clean, there could be a huge number," he told Good Morning Britain.
