The Toffees were already leading 2-0 on Saturday, when the cat darted towards Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles' penalty area, as he prepared to take a goal kick.
It's unclear how the stray pet managed to enter the pitch for without any trouble, before being ushered off by Robles who eventually got the game back underway.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Everton manager Martinez said:
