Woman killed as car crashes into coffee shop

A woman in her seventies has died and four people are seriously injured after a car crashed into a Costa coffee shop in Westerham, Kent, ambulance services said.

Kent Police told ITV News two "older people" were in the car at the time, and are currently among those being treated in hospital.

The cause of the crash is not yet clear, though the car was said to be out of control for some time before it entered the shop.

A woman in her 70s died and four people were seriously injured when the Audi went through the window of the shop in Westerham, Kent.
