Rooney hails 'huge moment' in England dressing room speech

Dressing room footage shows Wayne Rooney thanking England players and staff after becoming the country's all-time leading goalscorer.

Rooney, whose penalty rounded off a 2-0 win against Switzerland in qualifying for the European Championships, said the honour "means the world to me".

"Coaches, players, staff who I have worked with for such a long time - this is such a huge moment for myself and my family and my career.

"Hopefully for myself and the team there's a lot more to come," he added - before pointing to young stars Harry Kane, Ross Barkley and Raheem Sterling as players who could "come close and even pass me in the future".
