A female British citizen was among those killed in the bomb blast at the Erawan Shrine in Bangkok, Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has confirmed.
The woman, who has not yet been officially named, had been living in Hong Kong. She died in the explosion which killed at least 21 others and left more than 120 injured.
In a statement, Mr Hammond said British Embassy staff in Thailand were assisting her family.
