Doctor Zhivago star Omar Sharif has died aged 83, his agent said.
The actor was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. He died after suffering a heart attack in a hospital in Cairo.

The veteran actor was best known for the title role in Doctor Zhivago and for playing Sherif Ali in Lawrence of Arabia.
