Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed a body found in Mansfield is that of missing Amber Peat.
Post mortem tests showed the 13-year-old, who had not been seen since Saturday, died as a result of hanging.
Amber's mother Kelly and stepfather Danny paid tribute to their daughter saying: 'We will always remember Amber for her love of singing and dancing.'

Nottinghamshire Police said no formal identification had taken place, but said Amber's family had been informed.
Amber had not been seen since around 5.30pm on Saturday, when she walked out of her home in Mansfield after a row over chores.
Her father described her disappearance as "out of character".
Officers were tonight at the scene in Mansfield where the body was discovered.
Classmates and well-wishers have been leaving flowers and messages at a tree on a housing estate in Mansfield.
