PM: 'It will be a calamity' if Labour come to power
David Cameron has said it will be “a calamity for our country, for you and your family” if Labour come into power with the support of the SNP.
Speaking at an event in Nuneaton, he said: "We all know Nicola Sturgeon and Alex Salmond will extract a heavy price for that support, that price is even more borrowing, even more taxes to pay for unlimited welfare.
When a baby's squeal interrupted his speech, he took the opportunity to quip "it is your future we’re talking about because that borrowing and that debt, I don’t want you to have to pay that off.
"I want this generation to take responsibility and do the right thing!", he added.
