New Liberia Ebola scare as patient tests positive

A new patient tested positive for Ebola in Liberia on Friday, more than a fortnight after the last documented case in the region.

The West African country has seen the most deaths in the Ebola outbreak, but had been hoping to soon be declared Ebola free after no cases had been reported since March 5.

Liberia is investigating how its latest Ebola patient became infected as she doesn't seem to be linked to any of the people on an Ebola contacts list and has not recently traveled to the neighbouring infected countries of Sierra Leone and Guinea.
