Harrison Ford 'battered, but OK' after golf course plane crash

Actor Harrison Ford is being treated in hospital after a World War Two plane he was piloting crashed during an emergency landing on a California golf course.

His son, who visited him at the hospital, tweeted to say his father was "battered, but OK" following the incident.

Harrison Ford 'left bloodied' after plane crash

Harrison Ford was reportedly left bloodied with a "huge" cut on his head after the plane he was piloting crash-landed on a golf course.

A witness told entertainment website TMZ website, "Four to five men pulled the pilot out of the plane ... They were concerned it would catch on fire."

"Two doctors were there and they had a first aid box with them. He was conscious, talking a little [with] a huge cut on his head. A swath of his skin was missing. There was blood dripping down his face."
