Police investigate new Chelsea fans racism incident

British Transport Police have launched an investigation into reports Chelsea supporters acted in a racist manner on a train from London to Manchester.

Four men were asked to leave the train at Stoke after police were called to meet the train.

Chelsea confirm they will co-operate with police

Chelsea say they will co-operate with police if it is found supporters of the club were racially abusive on a train from London to Manchester on Sunday.

Four men were asked by the British Transport Police to leave the train at Stoke after a complaint was made.

"We are aware of the reports but it is not clear at this time if this incident involves Chelsea supporters," the club told Press Association.

"If it did then we will assist the British Transport Police with their enquiries."
