David Cameron has said he is "absolutely determined to win" the Rochester and Strood seat back after Conservative defector Mark Reckless's victory for Ukip.
The Prime Minister later expressed similar sentiments on Twitter, writing:
I'm determined to win back Rochester and Strood at the election - anything other than a Conservative Govt would put our recovery at risk.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
