WHO: Ebola death toll rises to 5,420

The death toll from the deadly Ebola outbreak has risen to 5,420, the World Health Organisation has announced.

There have been 15,145 cases in eight countries to the end of 16th November, the UN health agency said.

However, the WHO warned that the spread of the deadly virus remains "intense and widespread" in Sierra Leone, with 533 confirmed cases in the week to 16th November.
