David Cameron chairs Cobra meeting on IS threat

David Cameron was briefed today about the ongoing hunt for Islamic State (IS) militants responsible for the murders of Western hostages.

The Prime Minister chaired a session of the Government's Cobra committee where he was updated by intelligence chiefs about their progress in trying to track down militants responsible for killing westerners including US hostage Peter Kassig.

David Cameron was briefed today about the ongoing hunt for Islamic State (IS) militants responsible for the murders of Western hostages.

The Prime Minister chaired a session of the Government's Cobra committee where he was updated by intelligence chiefs about their progress in trying to track down militants responsible for killing westerners including US hostage Peter Kassig.

Cameron has vowed that the terrorists will face "justice" after videos have emerged in recent weeks of the latest IS atrocities including the beheading of kidnapped Westerners and captured Syrian soldiers.
