Cyprus football referees HQ bombed in Nicosia
The Nicosia headquarters of the Cyprus referees association was bombed in the earlier hours of this morning.
Cypriot police confirmed that a small bomb exploded at 03:35 local time, 00:35 GMT, causing minor damage.
It's not the first time that football officials in Cyprus have come under attack.
In February, all first division matches were postponed after a bomb damaged the car of Leontios Trattos, a prominent referee who also officiates international matches for FIFA.
Two months ago, a fire bomb was thrown at the house of an assistant referee in Limassol.
No arrests have been made yet in relation to the latest attack.
