V&A show to celebrate work of Alexander McQueen
The work of late British fashion designer Alexander McQueen will be showcased at an exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum next year.
'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty' will take place from 14 March to 19 July 2015.
The V&A says the show will be the first and largest retrospective of the late designer’s work to be presented in Europe and will highlight McQueen’s 'visionary body of work'.
The exhibition will span McQueen's nearly 20-year career from his 1992 MA graduate collection at Central Saint Martins to his unfinished A/W 2010 collection.
Alexander McQueen died in February 2010 at the age of 40.
