TV personality hits out over DLT claims she was a 'liar'
A television personality who was groped by Dave Lee Travis behind the scenes at The Mrs Merton Show has hit out at the DJ's claims that she was a "liar and a fantasist".
The woman, who was in her early 20s when she was attacked by Travis, said the remarks were "painful".
In a victim impact statement read out at London's Southwark Crown Court ahead of his sentencing, the woman said: "I was a naive and trusting 22-year-old when I was subjected to an unprovoked and terrifying physical assault at my place of work.
"I was too paralysed with fear to confront my assailant."
