Judge Anthony Leonard has given Dave Lee Travis a three month sentence suspended for two years after being found guilty of one indecent assault. The judge told him that he had committed "an intentional and unpleasant sexual assault" on"a naive and trusting" 22 year old.
He said that the former DJ was a well known celebrity who was in his late 40s at the time of the attack and would have "towered over" his victim, who was just 4 feet 11 inches and doing her first job after leaving university.
But the judge said that this single indecent assault was of "a different order of magnitude" to the offences committed by other celebrities such as Stuart Hall who had been convicted as part of the Yewtree Opertion.
