The Prime Minister has won overwhelming backing for British air strikes in Iraq against Islamic State militants, who he characterised as "psychopathic terrorists who are trying to kill us".
The vote for action was buoyed by Labour MPs, many of whom rejected a previous motion for a military response to chemical attacks in Syria in August 2013.
