Body found at recycling plant identified as Swindon man

The body of a man found at a recycling plant in Bristol has been formally identified 34-year-old Matthew Symonds of Swindon, police said.

Mr Symonds' death is being treated as unexplained.

Worker discovered the human remains at a depot in Avonmouth, Bristol, yesterday morning.

A man, whose dismembered body was found at a recycling plant in Bristol, is believed to be in his 30s.

Workers found human remains at the plant in Avonmouth, Bristol yesterday.

Police believe the man's remains were transported with recycling waste collected in Swindon.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out today.
