Amir Khan is "expecting the case to be dropped" after he was arrested in connection with an assault, a spokesperson for the boxer said.
"It was a minor incident and we're expecting the case to be dropped against Amir," they said. "We're expecting to formally hear that from police on Monday morning."
The 27 year old was alleged to have been involved in an dispute with two 19-year-old men who both suffered minor injuries.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
