Stephen Sutton's 'special little notebook' for his mum

The mother of cancer campaigner Stephen Sutton has issued a heartfelt message thanking those who supported her son and helped organise his funeral.

Writing on Stephen's Facebook page, his mum Jane said she had received 200 cards from well-wishers and joked that " there aren't enough surfaces in the house to display them all on!"

She also revealed that Stephen had given her a notebook on the final mother's day before he passed away for her to write a 'to-do list'.

"As you can see it's very small, and would be full up already had I attempted to write my list in it; it's a very long one, Stephen certainly left me with a lot to do!" she wrote.

There will continue to be events in Stephen's memory to help raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, the charity for which he raised millions of pounds in the weeks leading up to his death.
