Officers from Merseyside Police have confirmed convicted murderer Arnold Pickering was arrested at an address in Oldham at 11.45am. Pickering, 44, was jailed for 17 years for stabbing a man to death in Oldham in the 1990s.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
