Fashion design icon Professor Louise Wilson dies
Professor Louise Wilson, who was a long-serving course director at Central Saint Martins at University of the Arts London, has died at the age of 52.
Wilson had been credited with helping to shape the careers of lauded British designers Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney, and was recognised for her influence on fashion by receiving an OBE in 2008.
McCartney said Wilson was "an inspiration and force in fashion", adding: "No one will ever replace you because you were a true one off."
