Lorry driver released on bail after M26 crash kills two

A lorry driver arrested following a five-vehicle pile-up which killed two French nationals has been released on bail. The 45-year-old was held in connection with the crash and has been released on bail until August 15 pending further inquiries.

M26 crash: Those taken to hospital 'in serious condition'

Motorists taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the M26 in Kent are said to be in a "serious condition", a police spokesmen has said.

However the conditions of those injured have not been disclosed.

Two lorries, two cars and a box van were involved in the collision on the London-bound carriageway near Kemsing just after 9.30am.
